That’s right, last week Demand Media bought my site, Answerbag, from InfoSearch Media, and I will be going along with it. It was just eight months ago that I sold Answerbag to InfoSearch, and now we’ll find a new home again on Santa Monica’s 3rd Street Promenade with Demand Media.

I'm an LA-based Internet unprofessional who has been working on the web since 1996. My current full-time gig is managing a site I founded in 2003, Answerbag.com. I sold Answerbag to InfoSearch Media in early 2006, and they then sold it to Demand Media, so they sign my paychecks now. Before that, I spent some time with Intermix Media (parent of the infamous MySpace) and Yahoo! Games, but the bulk of my 'net experience was at my first startup, Gamers.com, which I started after college back in the Golden Years of the web.
