Tried WolframAlpha and I am truly horrified by the outcome. AskJeeves was better 10 years ago. I tried putting the same search strings that I used in google for some of my technical work and it couldn't handle it. I tried asking it basic questions and it wanted clarification. It is truly the worst search engine I've ever seen.

If I type in the example

"How have home prices in San Diego, CA changed in the last 5 years? "

It gives a garbage response asking for clarification. If I put the same in google I get a decent link. Either way I will have to click on at least one link (for clarification or to send me to my result).

No, I certainly don't, but I'm sure he has investors, and I'm sure they'd be very interested in an acquisition rather than trying to compete in the search engine world. There's no clear method of monetization, either, which says to me a sale to a search engine is probably the intended exit.
